Marshall Keeble preceded Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. as a civil rights leader. Instead of marches and non-violent protests, Keeble used the gospel of Christ, patience and love to break down the walls of racism.

This is the first in a series of sermons that attempts to answer the question "Why are there so many churches?" The answer is found in studying a blend of the historical and the Biblical. Two important Biblical points are made. There is only ONE "Holy Father" (God) and Jesus is the ONLY head of the church.
The resignation of Pope Benedict has resulted in much curiosity about who will become the next "head" of the Roman Catholic Church. Have you ever wondered, though, what the Bible says about the foundation of the Lord's church? Who is the head of the church? Was Peter the first pope? Etc. Join Eric as he lovingly and compassionately considers Matthew 16:16-18 and other relevant texts to answer these questions. The Bible does not teach that we will feel "butterflies, goose bumps or tingles" after baptism. The Bible DOES teach, however, that a baptized believer can expect and enjoy certain feelings. This sermon lists some of those feelings. Everyone is talking about the 35 minute power shortage at the recent Super Bowl in New Orleans. But, did you know that darkness covered the entire land for 3 hours during the crucifixion of Christ? Join Eric as he discusses the significance of darkness and what can be done to overcome it. The city of New Orleans is anticipating their NBA basketball franchise to change names from the Hornets to the Pelicans. They are also looking forward to the arrival of the Ravens (and 49ers) for the Super Bowl. Did you know, though, the Bible actually speaks about a place that will have pelicans and ravens one day? Join Eric to find out more! Join David ad he discusses principles of church growth based out of Ephesians 4. Watch as Dennis addresses some of the objections and frequently asked questions about baptism as an essential part of God's plan of salvation.
Our country has recently been focusing on the second amendment in light of recent events having to do with guns. The Bible has a lot to say about what we have the right to bear. Join Eric as he addresses this intriguing question. Watch as Dennis lays the scriptural foundation for affirming that immersion in water is essential for becoming a Christian and receiving forgiveness of sin.
